Chelsea will have reason for upset in the wake
of this defeat, as Fernando Torres was sent off moments after his team
had fought back from two goals down thanks to strikes from Juan Mata and
Ramires.
A David Luiz own goal and a neat Robin van Persie effort had put
Manchester United 2-0 up after less than twenty minutes, but the Red
Devils' somewhat careless play almost cost them a valuable win.But it was super-sub Javier Hernandez who won it late on with a poacher's goal that seemed a half-yard offside.
Chelsea's lead at the top of the Premier League table is cut to just a point, as they now face overwhelming pressure from the chasing Manchester clubs.
Thanks for joining me on a day when England's premier tournament justified its place as the most fascinating of its kind in the world.
Stay tuned to Bleacher Report for all the reaction and analysis of a truly memorable game.
90+5'- Seconds left as Chelsea pile men forward.
Javier Hernandez has once again proven his worth to Manchester United, scoring what looks like the winner, and inspiring his team late with fierce determination.

93'- CHANCE UNITED!
Antonio Valencia is set clear one-on-one by the dogged Hernandez. The Ecuadorian's shot is absolutely laughable though as Cech watches it roll harmlessly miles wide of his goal.

It seems he's alright to carry on though as it's announced Chelsea have five minutes of stoppage time to find an unlikely equaliser.
Hernandez is fed down the left channel, but he blasts his volley over Cech's goal from a difficult angle.
On a sidenote, stewards have gathered at the foot of one stand to care for a fan who needs serious medical attention. Let's hope he or she is alright.
Mark Clattenburg has a storied past in United games he's refereed.
He was in charge the day Nani stole a goal from the blindsided Heurelho
Gomes.
He's made one correct decision to send off Ivanovic today, and one poor one to send off Torres.

85'- Young is almost free and clear, but play is brought back for a
Robin van Persie offside call. The Dutchman let the ball run through his
legs in the build up, which was deemed interference.
If United win today, Chelsea's lead will be cut to just a single point.

Giggs getting plenty of touches in the middle in the absence of Rooney.

81'- More nervy stuff from United as Hazard is
allowed to cross in a dangerous position down the left flank. De Gea
claims comfortably though.
Much was made of the fact that three of four Premier League clubs
lost in Champions League action midweek. But having watched the action
today, nobody could doubt theexcellence and drama of the biggest league
in the world. The Brazilian's shot is decent, but a good yard or two over de Gea's goal.

78'- United continue to attack as Young and Valencia combine.
It's a shame that Mark Clattenburg will dominate the headlines, because this was a thrilling end-to-end encounter before two red card decisions effectively ended things.

Javier Hernandez scores to give United their lead back. It had to be him.
Van Persie's shot was well saved by Cech, but Rafael's subsequent effort was turned in in typical poaching style by the Mexican who was borderline offside.
74'- Van Persis fires miles wide from the edge of the box as Chelsea
look to recreate their Alamo defending from last season's Champions
League.
Rooney makes way for Giggs as Sir Alex seeks to prevent his main man from getting sent off.

Rooney tackles Cole heavily, but Clattenburg remains unmoved. He could've received his marching orders for two yellows there.
Mata makes way for Bertrand meanwhile.
Wow, just wow. Massive call by Clattenburg who decides Torres has dived over the top of an Evans tackle.
Somewhat poor decision from the usually excellent referee as it looked like there was contact.
68'- United build pressure around the Chelsea box as Evra tries unsuccessfully to dribble his way through two blue shirts.
66'- Chelsea's turn to make a change, as Oscar makes way for the new signing Cesar Azpilicueta.
A defensive change by Di Matteo in response to Ivanovic's sending off.

Javier Hernandez comes on in place of the somewhat anonymous Tom Cleverley. A very attacking change by Sir Alex.
Robin van Persie turns quite brilliantly on the halfway line, before releasing Ashley Young one-on-one.
The winger is tripped from behind by the Serbian, who has to walk. No complaints there as it's advantage United.
It's all United all of a sudden as the Blues have to withstand some pressure from Rooney and co.
Manchester United have a lot of work to do to get themselves back into this one. They've been trying to push forward a lot more since that equaliser.
Mi
Manchester United may have been the comeback kings this season, but it's the Blues who have earned that moniker today.
